Taigh na Mara sits on the waterfront at Kames, a short walk from the village store. The house sleeps ten across five bedrooms—four with doubles and one additional double—spread over two floors with four bathrooms. A loch lies just 20 yards away, and the property descends through tiered gardens and decking to a private beach. This arrangement creates genuine seclusion, though the garden has steep drops and no safety barriers, so it requires careful supervision of children.

Downstairs holds the kitchen, with an electric range and full appliances for cooking from scratch, plus two bedrooms with ensuite showers.
