Airy Cottage
Argyll and Bute
Airy Cottage opens into a generously proportioned ground floor: a living room with smart TV and electric fire, a separate dining room that seats eight, and a well-equipped kitchen where you can actually cook for a crowd. There's also a bedroom and bathroom on this level. Upstairs, a second living room with TV and sound system gives families the breathing room they need, along with three more bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, two with twin singles each—and another bathroom. Oil central heating and electricity are included, as are bed linen and towels; wi-fi keeps you connected if you need it.
The cottage stands on an acre of enclosed lawn in the village of Kames, a short walk from local shops, post office and a pub by the shore. An initial supply of coal and logs comes with the property for the open fire in the dining room. The garden has a wooden pod, useful for morning coffee with views across the Kyles of Bute. One dog travels free. There's parking for three cars, and a cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking indoors.
