Four-star touring park bordered by ancient woodland near Dial Post, around fourteen miles from Arundel

About Honeybridge Park

Honeybridge Park spreads across fifteen acres of landscaped grounds near Dial Post, bordered by ancient woodland on the northern edge of the South Downs. This Four Star Touring Park accommodates tents, touring caravans and motorhomes across 150 pitches, with over fifty on hardstanding bases – many offering electric hook-up, and some with water and waste connections as well. Heated shower blocks, family bathrooms and disabled facilities are backed by a laundry room, on-site shop and café serving breakfast.

Dogs are welcome free of charge throughout, provided they're kept on leads and exercised away from the pitches themselves. While it sits further from Arundel than some riverside alternatives, Honeybridge's position near Horsham, Worthing and Steyning makes it a practical base for touring West Sussex more widely, taking in the castle and cathedral at Arundel alongside market towns and downland villages. Caravan storage is available for those planning return visits.

There’s two parts to this review, first being the site, The site is large with statics, tourers and tents, facilities are all there with a dated but clean and warm toilet block, ladies was lovely not sure about the gents, but by Sunday morning the cubicles were lacking loo roll. Reception, the lady manning the desk could do with some training on being polite and friendly, both lacking sadly, our first time and last time at this site. To add their pricing policy of per person, per unit, per night with electric is bonkers, prefer a basic pitch with electric pricing structure. Hive the onsite cafe and bar, amazing, great value for money with also a basic camp shop with essentials there, staff are lovely, friendly and warm, this cafe was a great community space with staff that enjoy doing what they do, menu is basic but this is due to the actual campsite owners changing things for them. Highlight for us was the cafe. Overall, campsite was very bland and lackluster, cafe, great and they should be praised for all they do.

We stayed here last week in our touring caravan. Whilst the showers were hot enough , we feel the shower/toilet block needs an update . Couldn’t understand why there was a random saucepan on the window ledge in the ladies block! Also a plastic soap dispenser was loose and felt like it could come off the wall at any time. In the men’s apparently even when the toilets had toilet cleaner put down , the toilets were still not clean. Can’t imagine how these facilities would be when it’s busier.

Lovely site. Our first visit, but was recommended to us and we will definitely be returning. Didn't have dealings with site staff as arrived on a Sunday and left on the Tuesday and office was closed, but judging on cleanliness of facilities, they obviously work hard. Great cafe 'Hive' with great staff and delicious food. Can't wait for our next visit.

Really excellent site with amazingly warm welcome! We picked this site as it is very handy for the Knepp wilding project. It is a well run site with lots of hard standing pitches round the edge and lovely grass area for tents in the middle. The toilets were clean and there were plenty of them, and plenty of (free) showers. However, what makes the site stand out was the amazing welcome we received from the Abbie and her mum and aunt at the café/shop. They were all so warm and friendly, and the cafe was really clean and well-run. We will be back!
