Norfolk Arms Hotel

From the moment we arrived two days before our wedding until the moment we checked out, the whole team at the Norfolk Arms made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared for. We truly felt like honoured guests, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We wanted to spend a couple of days in beautiful Arundel as a family before the wedding, and the hotel made it such a relaxing and memorable experience. We were greeted with drinks in our room on arrival, and from then on the service was exceptional. A special mention has to go to Karen, the wedding coordinator, who was simply amazing. She met us in the ballroom beforehand while we decorated it ourselves, helped us rehearse the music and timings, and throughout the whole process made everything feel effortless. On the wedding day itself, she looked after me so attentively that all I had to think about was getting ready and enjoying every moment. The entire day ran seamlessly thanks to the care, professionalism and attention to detail of the whole team. Every member of staff worked so hard both behind the scenes and serving our guests to ensure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The canapés were delicious, the wedding breakfast was beautifully presented with incredibly generous portions, and the evening buffet was equally fantastic. So many of our guests commented on both the quality and quantity of the food. Our heartfelt thanks go to Lewis, the General Manager and Head Chef who, together with his talented chefs, Ajan, Charmaine, and Martin. The wonderful front-of-house team Edwin, Hannah, Karen, Alice, and Leo worked seamlessly with Karen, to make our wedding and stay truly unforgettable. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better venue or a more caring team to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.The perfect combination personal service and VIP experience. If you’re looking for a venue where you’ll be genuinely looked after by people who clearly care about making your day perfect, this is it.

Stayed for a night in one of the quirky rooms. Low ceiling and no wall is straight, but a very nice room and comfie bed. Great service and easy to deal with pre booking in. Does a great local cider call Silly Moo .... simple lunch menu when we needed a snack. In the middle of the High St, opposite places for dinner and breakfast. Would recommend.

We spent two nights here to celebrate my wife's birthday. It is an excellent example of an historic town centre coaching inn, with beautiful furnishings throughout. I would recommend the extra cost for a larger room - we were in Room 7 which was huge, and also quiet as it occupies the whole of one of the back wings. The heating in the room was efficient, as it was still cool when we visited. The breakfast room and lounge are both fascinating, with the history of the hotel described around the walls.

We’ve just had our wedding reception here and the entire experience was wonderful, the Ballroom here is a beautiful venue. Karen and her staff couldn’t do enough for us, and a further special thank you to Karen for everything she did to help make our day special. I can’t recommend them enough. Honeymoon suite was absolutely gorgeous as well. An incredible reception and a great couple of days spent here, thank you Norfolk Arms! Will & Soph
