Tucked into the West Sussex countryside just half an hour's walk from historic Arundel, Maynards offers straightforward camping with good bones – clean facilities, electric pitches for tents and tourers, and a handy pub-restaurant next door. The South Downs Way lies barely ten minutes' drive away, rewarding hikers with miles of rolling chalk downland, while the seaside is equally close for a change of scene. Perfect location for Arundel Castle, lido and Wetland Centre. Rustington, Goring, Worthing are nearby and nice to visit too. New management, warm and helpful welcome, ladies loos and adjustible hot shower were always immaculate. Can definitely recommend and will return 👌

Not a big site but toilets were kept clean ,Friendly owner and a perfect place to stay for Arundel which is within walking distance.

It has nice spread out pitches which have electric as option. Good location, only 20 min walk to Arundel and train station nearby. It's situated behind a Beefeater which served nice beer and food. The toilet block was routinely kept very clean. The owner was very helpful The only criticism is the chemical toilet needs money spent on it,, can you get the water hose working which hangs next to the chemical toilet. Could also do with a proper drain hole for grey water. Also water pressure in mens block on shower was not great. But the location is good

Best camping experience I’ve ever had in all of Kent. The toilets and showers are clean. Plenty of spots to set up camp. Plenty of activities around the area. The host is very friendly and helpful
