Evergreen House

Ashford has enough going on to keep a family occupied—The New Chimneys is nearby, and the town itself offers shops, restaurants and walks—but Evergreen House gives you a proper base to return to. This is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom property that sleeps eight, set in a residential part of town with its own enclosed garden and space to sit outside. There's parking for two cars on site.

Indoors, the ground floor holds a kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and everything else needed to cook properly, plus a separate dining and living area with a smart TV. Upstairs, two bedrooms have zip-and-link super kingsize beds (each convertible to twin singles on request), one has a kingsize, and one a double. The two bathrooms include one en-suite off the master bedroom. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included; there's also a travel cot and highchair if needed. The house is non-smoking.

It works well for multi-generational groups or two families holidaying together, and having the whole place to yourselves means nobody's disturbing anybody else. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
