About Dunn Street Farm
Dunn Street Farm sits just outside Westwell, making a handy base for exploring Ashford and the wider Kent countryside. The site offers a mix of pitches across strawberry fields and Brocks' Paddock, with or without electric hook-up, plus a shepherd's hut for those after a bit more shelter. Campfires are allowed, dogs are welcome, and the facilities cover the basics—showers, toilets, and drinking water—though there's no Wi-Fi, so you're properly off-grid here.
Open year-round, it's a straightforward, family-friendly spot that suits tourers looking for somewhere unpretentious to pitch up. The setting feels relaxed and rural without being overly remote, and the freedom to have a fire adds to the appeal on cooler evenings.

What visitors say
Minor panic when my confirmation email didn't come through (I'd booked quite last minute), but once I was able to get in contact with the owner it was sorted with no issues. I stayed mid-week, and the place was very quiet - I think I was the only camper there - so I can't vouch for what it's like when it's busy, but it's a nice little farm campsite, with the basic facilities that you'd need. Everything seemed very clean, and well maintained. I'd have no reservations about staying there again, or in recomending it to others. Just be sure to bring a torch, as if you need to visit the toilet once it's got dark you won't be able to see a thing.

Spent 3 days 2 nights over a weekend. Positives : massive field with plenty of space, electricity & drinking water. Peaceful at night. Basic toilets + showers. Lovely hot water. BBQs + dogs on lead allowed. Negatives (for me personally): strawberry field is quite a distance to the toilets & showers so had to walk every time. (Loos can be provided.) Lots of animals in the photos which may give the impression there’s lots for kids to look at but in reality it’s a working farm with fields to camp on & no access areas. Overall: decent for camping beginners, not many activities so bring your own entertainment.

I stayed here whilst bike packing the Canti way in June 26 I did not prebook and stayed just the one night. It’s a very simple campsite at a very reasonable price. Hot showers, clean toilets and a large field in which to pitch your tent. There is a pub in the local village but you need to check the opening times as it does not open every day. I would stay here again.

We had a great stay as a family for one night at Dunn Street Campsite. The campsite is massive and the tents/vans are well spaced. The toilet/shower/washup facilities were clean. There are also fridge, kettle and a washing machine for use on the site. There is a nice woodland at a walking distance.
