About Hampton by Hilton Ashford International
Ashford is a useful base for exploring Kent and beyond, thanks to its international station with fast connections, and the Hampton by Hilton Ashford International makes the most of that position, standing around seven minutes' walk from the platforms on Victoria Road. With 140 rooms across six floors, it suits both overnight business stops and longer stays for those heading further afield.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, with family rooms and accessible rooms also available. There's a restaurant and bar on site, breakfast is served, and kids' meals can be arranged. A gym is available for guests who want to keep up a routine, and practicalities are covered with a lift, luggage storage and laundry service. An electric vehicle charge point is on site, and parking is available for a charge, though a space needs to be booked in advance.
Beyond the hotel, the local area offers golf and fishing nearby, along with a choice of pubs, bars and restaurants for evenings out. With the station so close, Ashford itself is easy to explore on foot, and further destinations are within easy reach by rail.
People say this hotel offers clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms with modern amenities like large TVs and mini-fridges, and a complimentary breakfast buffet with a wide variety of fresh, hot dishes. Guests also highlight the friendly, helpful staff and the convenient location near the train station and designer outlet.
Some reviews mention parking can be difficult.
