Malthouse Barn is a detached conversion set within 26 acres of shared woodland and pasture. Step inside to find an open-plan ground floor where the living space, dining area and kitchen flow together—the focal point is a wood burner with a ready supply of logs through winter. French doors lead out to a decked terrace overlooking the valley. Upstairs, a single double bedroom with a galleried layout completes the property.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can cook proper meals. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; there's also a shower room with a cubicle shower. You get the whole barn to yourself, with parking for two cars on site and a one-step entrance. The setting suits anyone wanting quiet—deer occasionally cross the grounds, and the wider area is designated for orchid conservation—but it's also practical for short trips across the Channel, being 15 minutes from the tunnel and within reach of Canterbury's restaurants and shops. A pub sits within walking distance; the market town of Wye, about four miles away, has cafés and a farmers' market on alternate Saturdays. No smoking throughout.
