The Beach Loft

Walk through the doors of The Beach Loft and you're inside a former chapel that has been gutted and rebuilt as a contemporary home. The ground floor is one open space—high ceilings, clean lines, a kitchen you can actually cook in, and a dining area that flows naturally into it. Three king bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom; one of the beds unzips into singles if you need them. There's a mezzanine snug tucked away for quiet moments, a cinema room for rainy afternoons, and a games room with a pool table and vintage arcade machine.

Outside, a private garden has a hot tub, seating to sit in, and the kind of lighting that turns an evening into an event. One dog is welcome. The essentials—electricity, linen, towels—are covered. No smoking indoors. On-street parking is free and plentiful; there's no dedicated space, but you won't struggle to find somewhere to leave the car.

Appledore itself is a rural village in Kent with proper history behind it, the kind of place where you can walk to a pub for dinner and a local tea room is a five-minute stroll away. The Romney Marsh stretches around it, and the wider countryside is on your doorstep.
