Leacon Hall - Oast
Ashford

Ashford sits at the heart of Kent's attractions, from the Designer Outlet to Canterbury's cathedral an hour away, yet Leacon Hall Oast offers genuine quiet on the edge of Warehorne village. This converted 19th-century oast stands in grounds that include the owners' manor house, giving the property its own distinct setting without feeling isolated. A pub serving food is a ten-minute walk away, and the Kent coast is reachable by car in fifteen minutes.
The oast itself has three bedrooms sleeping six: a double in the circular room that forms the building's distinctive feature, another double, and two singles. Two bathrooms serve the upstairs, while downstairs holds a living room with TV and DVD player, and a kitchen properly equipped for cooking—electric range, dishwasher, American fridge freezer—that opens onto the enclosed south-facing garden. The space feels designed for groups rather than cramped; beds come made up, towels and Wi-Fi are sorted, and heating is included.
The garden is fully fenced, which matters if you're bringing one dog. Walkers will find the Royal Military Canal and Saxon Shore walk nearby; those interested in gardens can reach Sissinghurst Castle and Great Dixter in under an hour's drive. No smoking indoors.
