The Sanctuary

You enter The Sanctuary into a character-filled interior. The ground floor opens with a living room and dining room, both naturally lit and ready for gathering. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the basics—with a separate utility room housing washing and drying machines. A ground-floor toilet and a games room complete this level, where a snooker table sits alongside changing facilities. The first floor contains three bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with bath and bidet, and two singles each with their own ensuite. All three bathrooms have baths and toilets. Gas central heating covers the colder months from October through March; electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

Outside, the property commands nearly four acres of grounds with a patio, summer house, and barbecue. An outdoor heated swimming pool (11.5m by 5.8m, depth varying between 0.9m and 1.8m) operates from May to September. The gardens also have space for badminton and bowls. Private parking is on site. The location sits quietly near Ashford, roughly half a mile from the local pub. Dover is about 40 minutes' drive, Canterbury cathedral within easy reach. The property is family and couple bookings only, and smoking is not permitted.
