We had a fantastic time away here! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering local advice for visits and things to do. The hut was super cozy offering everything you need for an idyllic get away. Great food at local areas, especially at the Rose and Crown. Would recommend everyone to stay here!

My husband and I booked for 3 nights for a complete relaxation break. We liked the idea of coming back from visiting villages, historical moments and shopping to a comfortable and cosy shepherds hut. It was clean, and well maintained. The location was convenient for our little jaunts. Although the other shepherds Hut was not occupied we were entertained by ewes and their lambs and the resident pheasant. Anne was the perfect host, good for local knowledge and tips. We will definitely be booking again.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was cosy, clean and quiet and there was lots of little added touches such as a gift basket that just made it. We loved every aspect of our stay so much, they really thought of everything! We would recommend staying here to anyone! Thank you so much to Anne who was so lovely from the start. What a memorable enjoyable stay.

Thank you for an incredible, beautiful and peaceful night away in such a tranquil setting. Lovely to just relax & watch the sheep, rabbits and dramatic skyline; sunset and sunrise are stunning. We stayed in Mist & Skye and had an amazing break. The local pub is a leisurely wander through the lanes & is excellent; a real rural delight with delicious food and relaxed atmosphere too. We will definitely be back and recommend 100%
