What visitors say
We booked 3 nights camping. Staff really helpful and welcoming. The showers and toilets were absolutely spotless, cleaned to a high standard every day. We did worry that there was no electric hookup but managed with a cool box and ice ( the weather was extremely hot). Charging points for phones by shop and the most beautiful spot to camp. Will definitely be back!

This place is wonderful, perfect for cycling and walking, straight out the campsite and you are in the Forest. However, the real highlight is the kindness, helpfulness and empathy from the team. Both Michelle's and Dave (I hope that was his name - lovely Kiwi chap) were brilliant, they really went the extra mile, especially on the final day when we had a van issue. Thanks Ashurst Team and see you soon!!!

We came to stay at Ashurst for 1 night to trial camping with the kids, just to see if they liked it. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. They engaged with the kids too to make it fun for them. When we had questions they were gally to help and the customer service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Wow! What a beautiful campsite! Spacious and lovely to be able to pick our spot! Lovely open plan flat grass site with lovely pockets of shaded secluded area. Like the fact they only closed off one side if the toliet facilites at anyone time so never totally closed for cleaning. Such a warm welcome upon arrival. Quiet and peaceful. So lucky to wake up to an array of wildlife, especially the beautiful wild ponies (bonus as it was foal season!) Brilliant location with 2 pubs within walking distance (one 10% discount at the time of our visit and lovely rank of shops where we had pot of tea and homemade cake and fab Indian! Bus stop outside the site and we had lovely afternoon in Lyndhurst. Would defo return.
