Vale Park was inundated with rain over the weekend of 3 October 2020. Today is 9 October 2020 and the visible standing water is mostly gone! Ground is very squelchy underfoot! Update at 17 June 2023: a hot summer day. Sadly one of the bins has been removed, and people are apparently incapable of using their brains to go find one...

Great park to take the children, in the summer great outdoors for picnics. 2 play areas. Can park free up to 4 hours just pop into the leisure centre and ask them for a display ticket😉.

Great park with all sports ground & indoor swimming pool. Great park to visit your kids here. Also good place for hanging out friend. The canal view is very good & peaceful.
