🏡 Self-Catering Cottage 🐾 Pets Welcome

Crown Cottage

Hartest sits among Suffolk's quieter villages, its green ringed by period cottages and anchored by a working butcher. The Crown Cottage occupies a prime spot beside the green, yards from The Crown, a 16th-century pub that serves food and brews its own ales. Two local vineyards operate nearby, and fishing lakes stocked with carp, tench and perch lie within five miles. The Heritage Coast and Constable Country are both a manageable drive away, while Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury offer market-town amenities at equal distance.

The cottage itself is compact and modern: two bedrooms (one with a super king bed, one with singles), a bathroom, and downstairs living space that opens to an enclosed garden with patio. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and essentials including wi-fi, heating, bed linen and towels are provided. One car can park on site. One small dog stays free. Walking routes begin directly from the property, and the village green shops are five miles away if you need supplies.

The house has steep spiral stairs. Smoking is not permitted.
