The Mount

The Mount is a single-storey cottage in the heart of Suffolk, where everything happens on one level. You walk straight into a living room with Freeview TV and a wood-burning stove, then through to a kitchen and dining space that opens into a bright sun room. The bedroom holds a double bed, and the bathroom has both a bath and a shower cubicle. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with electricity; the heating is oil-fired central.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine. Outside, there is private parking for one car and access to a large garden with a patio, summerhouse and seating—shared with the owner. Rural walks begin directly from the property. The nearest shop and pub are 1¾ miles away. Sudbury, Hadleigh, Kersey, Lavenham and Long Melford are all within reach for exploring, as are Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge. This is a no-smoking property and sleeps two.
