I would highly recommend Little Ropers for anyone looking for a back to basics camping trip. Myself and my partner came to the site for a trial run as my partner had never been camping before and loves the idea of wild camping. You have your own pitch, a firepit and seating. We got a pitch in the Spinny, an adults only area they provide with 4 pitches (that I saw) spaced out either within a wooded area or outside of this on a grassland pitch. We had an amazing view over the fields with the farm's beautiful Cows. There is another wooded area and a meadow that suits small family camping. This site has a small shop for convenience, local milk and produce is available (ensure you request the produce 24h in advance!) You must purchase firewood from the farm which is £10 for a large bag which can last you a couple of evenings if you use the wood sparingly. We cooked sausages, prawns and mushrooms comfortablely with plenty of wood to spare for the rest of the evening. It also includes firestaring kindling and paper. There are washing facilities, toilets and washing up basins for both family and adult sites. We had an amazing walk to Agar Fen in thr afternoon. The shop has plenty of leaflets, maps and information on the local area for exploring! We will be visiting again soon!

An absolutely beautiful and peaceful campsite. The pitches are great and come with a fire pit, they even provide pans and kettles for fire cooking! The owner is very welcoming, and the on-site shop has lovely local produce like eggs and honey. We cycled here and found it to be the perfect getaway. Clean facilities and a wonderful vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely woodland camping spot. We were lucky enough to have the adults site all to ourselves (likely because no one else is stupid enough to brave the rain!). Stunning views over the fields. Staff were friendly and helpful. The toilet/shower block is modern and always clean. They have cool fire pits with built in grill, and the bags of wood you buy are massive compared to some campsites. The only downside was the ground on our pitch, it had so many stones in the ground we bent a lot of pegs and had to really try to get any in, and the top soil was really loose. Overall had a lovely time.

This campsite is absolutely lovely. We stayed in a little patch of forest that had rope swings for the kids, spotless toilets and a washing up area for the 5 or so pitches. Camp fires are allowed, there are 2 friendly llamas you can feed and cows in surrounding fields. Tom the owner could easily double the number of pitches to make more money instead he allowes campers to have ample personal space to enjoy. Will definitely return again!
