About Cairn Bay Lodge
Cairn Bay Lodge has been run by the Mullen family for more than thirty years, overlooking Ballyholme Bay a five-minute walk from Bangor town centre and marina. The house has eight individually decorated guest rooms, each with a comfortable bed, flat-screen television, DAB radio, free Wi-Fi and Voya certified organic seaweed toiletries.
The property's Starfish Cafe serves guests through the day, and Voya and Guinot spa treatments are available on site, giving it a more indulgent feel than a typical seaside guest house. Sea views over the bay are a feature of many rooms.
Its position between the marina and Ballyholme Beach makes it a good choice for visitors who want a quiet, well-appointed base within easy walking distance of both the town centre and the coast.

We are on a 2 week vacation in Northern Ireland and Ireland. Outside of Belfast we stayed 2 nights at Cairn Bay Lodge. The hotel is adorable. The views overlooking the bay is awe-inspiring. The room was spacious but felt cozy. I can’t say enough nice things. Chris, our host, was everywhere doing everything. He and his staff were very friendly. We ate breakfast each morning before exploring around Belfast. The food and service were excellent. If you want you holiday to feel special, Cairn Bay Lodge is a very good start.

Decided to stay here whilst visiting NI as I had walked past on numerous occasions when staying at Bangor Marina. Instant wow factor with a beautiful homely feel. Reminded me of my childhood home with beautiful wooden floors and panneling. Quirky too. Met by Chris who showed me to my room. I had booked a single but was given a double. Such a treat! Stunning sea view overlooking Ballyholme through a beautiful bay window with window seating. The most comfortable bed and linen. The shower I told Chris was the best on the planet! Superb water pressure! Fluffy white towels. Unfortunately did not stay for breakfast but I will definitely return. I regularly travel alone and i had a wonderful time here. Ten out of ten. 😊

Stayed here 14th February and all i can say is its an Absolutely stunningly beautiful hotel.everything was perfect,the decor,the staff,the breakfast and the view is something to admire any time of day. Cosy comfortable quiet luxury. We genuinely didn't want to leave. Just such a charming beautiful place nestled perfectly on the seafront.

An absolutely outstanding Guest House. Lovely big rooms, friendly staff and the place was spotlessly clean. We were also taken with the quality of the breakfasts. They were amazing.
