About Bae Abermaw
Bae Abermaw occupies an elegant detached Victorian villa on Panorama Road, looking straight down over the mouth of the Mawddach Estuary and Barmouth Bay. The fourteen-bedroom property has been run as a boutique B&B, with a relaxed, contemporary feel behind its period exterior, and rooms ranging from standard doubles to sea-view family rooms.
The Bae Bar is fully licensed and opens onto garden seating where guests can take in the estuary views over a drink, and full Welsh or continental breakfasts, including gluten-free and vegetarian options, are served each morning. The house is within easy walking distance of Barmouth railway station and a fifteen-minute walk from the beach, and is well placed for windsurfing, fishing and canoeing on the estuary.
Its position above the town gives some of the best views in Barmouth without losing easy access to the harbour, shops and station below.
