🏡 Self-Catering Cottage 🐾 Pets Welcome

Ty Isaf

Ty Isaf sits just ten steps from the street in Barmouth, a working harbour town on the Gwynedd coast. The property sleeps five across two bedrooms—a king and a double plus single—with one bathroom upstairs and a separate toilet on the ground floor. Downstairs you'll find the living room with views across the estuary; upstairs, a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, plus a bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided, and one pet stays free of charge.

The location puts you within walking distance of Barmouth's centre and the beach is half a mile away. The Mawddach Trail—an easy walking route that follows an old railway line—runs along the estuary heading south towards Dolgellau. North along the coast by train lies Harlech with its castle; south is Tywyn, where the Talyllyn Railway runs narrow-gauge steam trains up into the hills. Dinas Oleu, the National Trust's first ever acquisition, overlooks the town from above, and Zip World near Blaenau Ffestiniog offers the larger adrenaline activities if that's your thing. No smoking indoors.
