Site spotless and the staff were very friendly, I do like when the warden takes you to the pitch and you are advised how to park. The toilets were clean and were in the process of a new roof being put on, not a issue. I would definitely advise about not taking your caravan or Motorhome through the centre of the town due to it being a bit tight, not saying it's impossible but easier approach via the B6277. Barnard Castle is around 1.5 miles from the site by foot however I never walked it. Barnard Castle has all you would need regarding takeaways and supermarket. I would definitely return.

This Camping & Caravan Club Site is the perfect location for visiting in and around Barnard Castle. The Caravan site is extremely well kept with perfectly clean toilets and fabulous, well kept pitches. The staff are always happy, friendly and willing to help. This is a site we visit often! Love it!
