Fantastic site, only a 15 mins walk into Barnard Castle which has an excellent choice of shops and pubs. We only rejoined CAMC last November after a long break, CAMC sites and pitches are a 100% better then CCC sites. Excellent site wardens so friendly and very helpful.

We have been members of the CMC for many years and have visited Teesdale site previously and it was fine. However, the experience this time was a noticeable improvement. The welcome we received on arrival was great, the facilities were SPOTLESS and the site was clean and tidy. I could not fault it. The site is well positioned to be able to walk into Barnard Castle in about 20-30 mins, but it is a steep climb in places, so not suitable for everyone. In this case there is a local bus that runs hourly from a request stop outside the site entrance.

Great site, as all club sites are. Only gripe is the site has been extended (where we were pitched) providing more pitches but only one ablutions block. Male side had only four toilets and six showers. Over the weekend the site is very busy and we thought it needed another block. It's a fair distance from the newer pitches to the ablutions.

Well run site, tidy and well laid out. Good size pitches. Excellent shower and toilet facilities. Inside washing up area. Under a ten minute walk into the town.
