Absolutely stunning hotel that is incredibly well maintained. The vintage but modern decor is just perfect and the team are very helpful. The grounds are so beautiful and it is lovely and quiet. Breakfast was great choice (selection of cold things and made to order hot food); they even gave our party of 15 a separate room! Would whole heartedly recommend.

The location is excellent ,very green and clean. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. There is a good variety of breakfast options, and the food is of high quality. The service is excellent, with receptionists who are always smiling and ready to help. It offers great value for money. A bench should be provided for each piece of gym equipment, as not all users are able to move heavy benches but the gym is well equiped and I will definitely visit again. The lady restaurant supervisor could do with a little smile

Lovely hotel and rooms. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The grounds are spectacular so hats off to the gardener. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner and they were both delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

I’m really happy with my stay at Abbey House Hotel and Gardens. The room was incredible—beautifully presented, spacious, and extremely comfortable, making the stay feel extra special. Dining at Oscar’s Restaurant was a real highlight, serving some of the best food I’ve had, with excellent quality and flavour throughout. I also really enjoyed visiting Furness Abbey, which was a lovely place to explore and added to the overall experience. The whole area felt very safe and peaceful, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, an amazing experience that I would happily recommend.
