Now a 5 room holiday let. Lovely place, comfortable rooms, all en suite. Parking for 5 cars and very helpful owner next door. Although it has a Barrow-in-Furness address it is between Dalton and Barrow, just off the A590. Most of the rooms are very quiet but one room may have a little traffic noise. Very convenient footpath across the fields to the Brown Cow. Great breakfast room in the conservatory and comfortable lounge. TVs in all bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. All the rooms are en suite and range from comfortable to luxurious.

Great place, stayed up there for a week in early summer. When we arrived, we were treated to a freshly baked Victoria sponge cake which was delicious! While we were up there we visited windmere, conniston and Ambleside which weren’t too far away and were great for both hiking and exploring. Only reason for 4 stars is due the Wi-Fi being very slow at the house and only really worked when sitting directly in the lounge.

Great place to stay, owners were great very hospitable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety on offer. Family room was spacious and has all basic requirements. Only downside was that the wardrobes need a refresh as were dated, and areas in the bathroom repainting due to marks ect.

Absolutely beautiful, quirky but stunning country style B&B/Hotel. Lovely people running it. Nice for couples a quiet night away. Fantastic breakfast. Tasteful decor. I loved the "Yellow Room". Thank you for a lovely stay.
