About The Townhouse Apartments

Barrow-in-Furness sits on the edge of the Lake District, and The Townhouse Apartments on Dalton Road makes a practical base for exploring the wider Cumbrian coast and countryside without needing to pay national park prices. It's an easy stop whether you're passing through or settling in for a few days of walking, cycling or fishing nearby.

Rooms here are generously sized and well kept, with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi as standard, and some apartments come with kitchenettes or their own jacuzzis for a bit of extra comfort. Family rooms and a bridal suite are available too, alongside VIP facilities for those wanting something more special, and there's drinks and room service if you'd rather not leave your room. The on-site restaurant and bar serve well-regarded food, with packed lunches and kids' meals also on offer, though service can be a little slow at busier times.

Beyond the apartments, guests have access to meeting rooms and entertainment nearby, plus golf, watersports and cycling routes within reach for anyone keen to fill their days outdoors. Free on-site parking and 24-hour reception make arriving and leaving straightforward, and there are pubs and restaurants close by for evenings out.

Absolutely shocked horrified! Never been treated like that for giving my business to eny other establishment. I recently moved to barrow after buying several properties in the area, iam new to the area and unfortunately eating alone. i eat in the restaurant this weekend paid my bill and left returning later for 1 drink. Today i returned where i was told i was barred for not paying my bill for the meal, I explained it must be a mistake and offered to pay there and now. but was refused the opportunity to correct the mistake instead i was met with someone shouting just get out and accusing me of being a thief in front of other customers. He was totally un willing to listen to reason or engage. I returned offering to show bank statements and offer to pay as i was totally unaware of eny unpaid transaction till now but had him tell me he didn't want me in his business and refused take my complaint iam a 49 year old man who's had facial reconstruction surgery and believe this poor treatment is due to my facial appearance and poor and unacceptable judgement on behalf of staff, I have been eating out alone for 20 years 7 days a week but never been treated like that, never been accused of being a thief in front of people as thanks for my business or barred on my facial appearance. And feel this fails to meet the standards of the 2010 equality act and i will be takingit further. absolutely horrified at being judged so poorly because of my facial disability spoken to and treated like that in front of other customers!. Staff young immature that look at you like there is something wrong with you if your eating alone or have a facial disability. And the person I spoke to had zero customer service or people skills,

It's Tuesday the 16th June at 8.34 I'm staying at the townhouse and at 8.05 walked into the bar past 5 girls in the door way what I didn't no was one of them was the bar staff, waited between 5 and 10 minutes for her to come back in to serve. Never came so went up to my room no food or drink, I was so disappointed because last time I stayed the service and food and rooms where excellent, the first person you meet when you enter a place set's the tone and it was terrible

We stayed at The Townhouse 211 on New Year’s Day and had an absolutely perfect experience. The room with the jacuzzi exceeded all expectations — it was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully presented. The jacuzzi was incredible, and the bathroom and shower were absolutely amazing, modern, and luxurious, making the stay feel extra special. The location was perfect, with plenty of great places to eat and drink nearby, and the bar had a really good atmosphere and energy, which added to the overall experience. Everything was finished to a very high standard and clearly well maintained. We couldn’t fault a single thing and would highly recommend The Townhouse 211

We had a lovely stay here for 1 night. The facility’s in the room were brilliant, and to be able to bring our dog was perfect! Very big comfy bed, my only negative is the pillows weren’t great.
