Couples will find The Form an ideal base for exploring Bath's Georgian centre and surrounding countryside. This one-bedroom property occupies a former art deco cinema in the city centre, steps from SouthGate Bath. The restored space retains the character of its theatrical past while offering modern comfort—a ground-floor open-plan living area with kitchen, dining space and sitting room, plus a shower room. Upstairs, a double bedroom completes the layout. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are all included, along with on-site parking for one car.

The cinema's large hall continues to host classical concerts, literary events and theatre performances throughout the year. Acoustics are particularly good for live music. Staff are attentive, and the nearby parking takes the stress out of visiting. Within easy reach are the picturesque villages of Lacock and Castle Combe, both known for their film and television locations, as well as National Trust properties, stately homes and Longleat Safari Park. Bath itself, under 10 miles away, holds the Roman Baths, Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge and the Jane Austen Centre. The property is non-smoking throughout.

Absolutely boiling hot (not helped by the recent heatwave, but still exceptionally hot in there), and very classically glamorous but perhaps a little tired venue. We had 3 seats between 2 of us, and thank heavens we did as it was a bit cosy space wise! Staff were friendly and helpful but I'd not rush back to see a show there.

Great venue for live performance. Love the old decorations. A little uncomfortable when every seat is full and the day temperature is 32 deg.

A decent venue with easy entry and reasonable drink prices, though parts of it feel a bit dated. Seating is somewhat worn and could be more comfortable, and the toilets are in need of an update. Still, it works well enough as a theatre space overall.

Great venue, with well organised staff and bars. A wonderful Art Deco space, ideal for stage productions. Comfortable seating and wide aisles. Reasonably accessible for wheelchair users. Conveniently close to bus and train station.
