About Bury View Farm Caravan and Campsite
Bury View Farm is a small working-farm campsite outside Corston, roughly five miles west of Bath on the road towards Keynsham and Bristol. Despite being that close to a major visitor city, the feel on site is properly rural: open fields, hedgerows, long views and very little passing traffic. It's a straightforward site rather than a holiday park, and that's the point—people come here because it's quiet, cheap and unfussy.
Pitches take tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook-ups and fresh water points around the field. The facilities block has separate ladies' and gents' sections plus accessible facilities, each with modern showers, vanity units and hot water. There's a covered washing-up area, barbecues are permitted, and dogs are welcome on a lead. The only real downside is the cash-only payment, so check ahead when you book. Stock up in Corston or Saltford too—there's no shop, bar or pool on site.
As a base it works well. Bath is a ten-minute drive or bus ride, Bristol around twenty minutes, and the Cotswold Way, Two Tunnels route and Kennet and Avon towpath are all within striking distance. Prices hover around £24 a night for two people with a unit, making it one of the better-value options within easy reach of the city.

Very nice couple running this small/cozy campsite. Everything there, you may need. Very close to either bus stop to Bath or one of the three very convenient Park & Rides into the city of Bath. What else you may need?

Very friendly people. Lovely flat ground. Easy to put tent pegs in. Modest-sized field with option for power. 2 female showers, 2 male showers and 2 pairs of toilets and 2 pairs of sinks all in one block. Sink with hot water for washing up. Chemical waste disposal point. Waste bins. Fresh water tap. Picnic bench. Combination lock on barrier at entrance. Dog friendly. Very pleasant birdsong in the morning. A lovely stay. Good value. Recommended.

I don't give many reviews but this one needs a warning: unhygienic and dirty sanitary facilities. Mold on the ceiling and walls isn't from yesterday. See pictures. Our comment on this was met only with a shrug of the shoulders.

Very welcoming hosts and good basic facilities for washing and toilets. Good flat camping area with electric hook up if required. Great location for access to local villages plus Bristol and Bath and their cycleways. Would stay again.
