As a foodie, I would like to praise this place as one of the small hotels providing the best breakfast! Despite being small, the food is hearty and the chef made everything so fresh and beautiful. The overnight oat is naturally sweetened. The yogurt parfait is delicious. And most importantly, the full English breakfast! It actually sustained me until late afternoon lol. Hotel-wise, it locates at a nice location close to the Crescent and walkable to downtown. The room is small and there is no AC, yet given the price, it is a good deal. Highly recommended for solo travelers!

I had a wonderful stay at Brooks Guesthouse and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bath. From the moment I arrived, Teresa at reception made me feel genuinely welcome. She was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful, creating a fantastic first impression and making me feel completely at ease. A special thank you also goes to Monika and Paul at breakfast. I only had 15 minutes available before I needed to leave and was worried I wouldn’t have enough time to eat. Monika immediately took care of everything and made sure my order was prioritised, while Paul prepared a delicious breakfast in what felt like no time at all. Their teamwork, efficiency, and kindness turned a stressful morning into a very pleasant experience. The guesthouse offers excellent value for money, with great service and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely recommend Brooks Guesthouse to my friends and family if they are visiting Bath, and I look forward to staying here again myself in the future. Thank you to the whole team for such a lovely experience!

What a lovely place . We , four adults, had the family room as we were celebrating a 70th birthday. It was fab for what we wanted. We were made welcome from the minute we arrived. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was superb and we loved the honesty bar !!! Would highly recommend and will definitely book again if we stay over night in Bath !! Thank you all so much for letting us be your guests x

My wife and I got this as a part of a Groupon deal and we were shocked... In a good way! Upon arriving, the friendly member of staff on the reception greeted us and gave us a tour of the place. We were told that they had a better room so upgraded us for free as there was no one booked into the room. The room was lovely! The bed was big and comfortable, the decoration was nice and the bathroom was very clean. The guest house has an honesty bar - one night after going out for a few drinks we grabbed a bottle of wine and payed for it the day we left. They also left us a bottle of wine on the bed upon arrival and a box of chocolates. My wife enjoyed the chocolates and I enjoyed most of the wine ;-P The guest house is only a 10 minute walk into town (and I'm a slow walker!) and in a straight line so really easy to find. I can honestly say, the breakfast was possibly the best breakfast I've had in any hotel / guest house. The sausages were lovely (and sourced from a local butchers) and all the ingredients were of good quality and really well cooked. We had a full English for the first day and truffle scrambled eggs the second - all cooked beautifully. I honestly can't praise this place enough. Whenever I go back to Bath I'll be booking in here!
