I want to start with the elephant in the room/location - the lodges are tired and definitely in need of repair or even replacing. The attention to detail in the upkeep of them has lapsed sadly to the point where cobwebs, dust, dirt and lack of general attention to detail in providing a premier service to customers is not being maintained. This is not to blame the service staff but rather the management option to obviously pull back on these aspects of running the site. Staff are friendly, helpful and very responsive to the needs of guests and they provided a professional and prompt response to requests throughout. The gym is a nice addition. We made use of it throughout our stay. However it really is in need of a very thorough deep clean; not just surface and including pulling out all machines and providing adequate cleaning products for guests to use after use. The setting is beautiful. We even enjoyed seeing a small deer wandering through. Bath town and supermarkets are very close by car.

The site is well maintained, clean and thestaff very helpful. The Lodge we had was very spacious and clean. To get to bath a bus stop was just outside £3 each or we used an uber for £15. The bar food was excellent but the bar closed at 8.30 which didn't bother us. Would definitely stay again

Bath mill lodge retreat is a really lovely place to stay, staff are friendly and helpful, the grounds are kept nice and the bar and play area for kids is great too. The only downside is the bar shut at 8:30pm and as we visited during an extreme heat wave, our lodge was like stepping into a sauna every day and night! we had 4 fans but it didn't help, so maybe the owners should look at installing air con. Despite this, we would love to visit again.

I stayed in this lovely quiet resort for 3 nights in a 3 bed lodge. Really spacious & with a fully equipped kitchen, everything you would need. Lovely double doors onto veranda, one small detail, we were staying in a dog friendly Lodge so a gate on the outside veranda would have been very useful. Bistro was lovely and friendly staff, food good, opening a bit earlier for a morning coffee would have been nice. Lots of public walks close along with bus into Bath. Park & Ride 5 mins away. All in all very enjoyable and I'd return again.
