A truly memorable 60th birthday meal at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea We travelled from the West Midlands to Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea for my 60th birthday celebration, having visited previously and knowing the standard the restaurant is capable of. We had organised the meal and the restaurant was aware that it was a special occasion. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome. The service throughout the evening was warm, courteous and attentive, without ever feeling forced. The starters were exceptional. The Dahi Bhalla Chaat was excellent and the sorbet added something genuinely different to the dish. The contrast between the warmth of the spices and the coolness of the sorbet worked beautifully, lifting the whole plate and giving it a fresh, memorable finish. We were also served lamb seekh kebabs prepared by the chef, and they were superb. Seekh kebabs can sometimes be dry or too heavily spiced, but these were perfectly judged. They were moist, well-seasoned and full of flavour. The highlight of the evening for me was the Kashmiri Lamb Shank Roganjosh. Although it was not on the menu, our waiter Kranti kindly asked Chef Satish whether he would be able to prepare it for us. Chef Satish obliged, and with what seemed like very little notice, produced one of the most satisfying main courses I have had in a long time. The lamb fell away from the bone and was beautifully moist. The sauce was outstanding, with layers of spice that came through clearly but remained perfectly balanced. It was rich, deeply flavoured and cooked with real skill. If this dish is available when you visit, I would strongly recommend ordering it. You will not regret it. We also had the Seared Kentish Saddle of Lamb, which was also cooked beautifully. It was slightly pink, very tender and full of flavour. The lamb was cooked to perfection and it simply melted in your mouth. We also followed Kranti’s recommendation and ordered the Lucknowi Chicken Biryani, which was another excellent choice. The rice was light, fluffy and moist, the flavours were well balanced, and the chicken remained tender throughout. Chef Satish was leading the kitchen that evening, and the quality of the food he and his team produced was outstanding. His skill was clear in every dish, from the balance of the spices to the precision of the cooking. Vivek should be very proud of Chef Satish and the wider team at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea. They delivered food that was refined, full of flavour and genuinely memorable. A special mention must also go to Kranti and the front-of-house team. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, polite and professional, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Their service added greatly to the evening and helped make the occasion feel special. This was a wonderful 60th birthday meal and well worth the journey from the West Midlands. Thank you to Chef Satish, Kranti and the whole team at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea for making the evening so enjoyable. We left extremely impressed and very grateful.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal and drinks here together with our friends from London while visiting them. The menu offers some less predictable choices, allowing you to experience Indian cuisine in a slightly different and refreshing way. The lamb was tender, and the grilled dishes were very flavorful, although some of them were quite spicy. It was fairly quiet on the evening we visited, but the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A great restaurant if you're looking to enjoy Indian food with a slightly different twist. Well worth a visit!

Had a fantastic experience at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea. The food was absolutely amazing — full of flavour, beautifully presented, and easily some of the best Indian-inspired dishes we’ve had in a while. The atmosphere and setting were great too, making it a really enjoyable evening overall. The only small downside was that two different members of staff asked us if the food was alright within about 30 seconds of each other, which felt a little unnecessary and interrupted the conversation slightly. Aside from that, the service was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely return and highly recommend for the food alone!

They also mention the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the attentive, friendly service from the staff. Guests appreciate the good value, especially the set menus, and the staff's helpful recommendations and accommodation of dietary needs.
