About St Georges Hotel

St Georges Hotel occupies a pair of townhouses on St. George's Drive, joined at numbers 107 and 115 to form a 36-room hotel with a traditional London character. The building's period frontage gives way to more modern comforts inside, including air conditioning and a lift, making it a straightforward base for exploring the capital.

Rooms come with drinks available on request, and beds are a particular strong point, though maintenance can be inconsistent from room to room. Guests have access to a restaurant and bar on site, along with breakfast, free WiFi, a gym, and a garden for quieter moments. Those travelling for work can make use of the meeting rooms, while porter, concierge, valet parking and laundry services are all on offer, plus free on-site parking for those arriving by car. Staff are generally helpful and pleasant, though a few visitors have found service patchy at busier times.

The location is a genuine draw, with Pimlico tube station close by and Victoria Station within easy reach, putting Westminster and the wider city within easy striking distance. There are also pubs, restaurants and other eateries nearby for evenings out, making the hotel a convenient, if occasionally uneven, place to stay in central London.

My daughter , friend and myself had a lovely stay at St George’s Hotel. The room was basic but clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect for what I was there for, making it really convenient throughout my stay. I accidentally left my sandals behind after checking out, and the staff were brilliant. They kindly arranged to send them back to me once I covered the postage, which I really appreciated. The excellent customer service made all the difference, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I would definitely recommend St George’s Hotel and will happily return in the future.

I'm not one for leaving bad reviews unless the people running it are bad but holy... The customer service we got was decent. But the building and the room was tragic. We paid for 3 rooms for 1 night. Firstly the rooms are incredibly small which we didn't mind as it was just to sleep in but they was tiny. They fit a bed and had about 2ft of room around the bed. That's it. One room was on the top floor. Thre stairs leading up felt like an abandoned building but with carpet. Slanted, creaky, wobbly etc. the room had a weird smell/odor and a crack in the window. The second room had a cracked double mirror wardrobe and was tiny. Had stains on the floor with carpet missing. The curtains had paint stains on and the bedside lamps looked about 50 years old. A mirror blocking a plug socket and only 1 cup in a double room. Mould in the bathroom and the toilet was coming loose from the floor. The pillows was so thin we may as well not have had one and the shower felt like it was from temu. The bottom floor room was also small. 2 single beds right next to each other and the wall mounted TV felt like it was held on by a thread. Overall the rooms was the worst rooms I've stayed in and I've stayed at 80+ hotels over the years. And for £450+ for 3 rooms for a night. That's bad. The only good thing to say is that the staff was pleasant and kind. Everything else, was the worst. If you want to support nice people, stay here. If you want a hotel room that feels like it's worth more than £30 per night. Avoid at all costs I genuinely hope this review helps people because it was not a good experience. The pictures that you see online look like they was taken when they first opened. The rooms now look like they're from the 80s

Stayed here for one night, which was enough. This hotel is advertised as 3 star, more like 1 or 2 star max. Hotel is dated, and in dire need of a refurbishment. Scruffy carpets, furniture in rooms. Light bulbs not working in room. Lots of stairs, so not suitable for guests with health and mobility issues. On arrival, was told there was no breakfast available although pictures online showed a breakfast room which was misleading. No tea bags or tea spoons in room, just coffee sachets. On the good side, the bed was comfortable and crisp, clean linen. Good location. The bathroom shower was ok with plenty of hot water. Overall, not great, very basic just about ok for one night on a budget.

Great location and very convenient for visiting the city. The room was a bit small for three people, but still manageable for a short stay. The main downside was the five flights of stairs — definitely too many, especially without a lift and if you have heavy luggage. Overall, the room was simple but acceptable considering the affordable price, as long as you don’t have overly high expectations.
