What diners say
Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and pleasant ambience. The service was good The pizza was honestly 10/10 very authentic, fresh, and tasted like Italy (unfortunately I didn’t take a photo). We also had bread and burrata with tomatoes simple and nice, but nothing special. However, the seafood linguine was very disappointing. The presentation looked nice, but the taste was poor (around 3/10). The sauce felt more like oil than a proper balanced sauce, and the pasta wasn’t well combined with the seafood, so the flavors didn’t come together. Also, £29 for this dish is definitely not worth it. Overall, a mixed experience ,,,great pizza and decent starters, but the main seafood dish needs serious improvement.

Yesterday (14th March) we went to Monterre Restaurant to celebrate my mum’s birthday and it was such a lovely experience. A big thank you to Ross who was serving us he was absolutely wonderful. He brought such good vibes and positive energy to the table he really made our visit so enjoyable. He was very attentive, made sure we had everything we needed, and had some great banter with us which made the whole atmosphere feel relaxed and fun. The food was amazing as well especially the prawns, they were incredible! Everything was fresh, full of flavour and really made the meal special. Clock it, we will definitely be back. Thank you again for such a great experience and for helping make my mum’s birthday celebration even better.

We had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was perfect—relaxing, elegant, and very welcoming. A special thank you to our waiter, Ionut for his exceptional service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had dinner here last Friday. The food was good but it felt that there was a delay between the food being cooked and being served. You know when you let pasta sit in can stick together. The service was a bit hit and miss to the point where I described our waitress as dittsy but maybe she was just having an off night. The food tasted and looked great see my photo's. We were seated outside so the heat wave made that work. I have to say that the wine glasses and the carafe were the cleanest I have had as was all the crockery. The only thing that took away from the restaurant was the very large bin that was at the side of the building that needed to be emptied. Remember I said this was during last weeks heat wave and the smell that wafted my way during dinner was more than ripe. You know when you get stuck driving behind the bin lorry in traffic and that ripe funky smell hits you. That aside the food was good, the setting was good and the service was nearly there.
