About Ashfield Bed & Breakfast

Holywood Road puts Ashfield Bed & Breakfast within easy reach of Belfast's city centre, with Castle Court Shopping Centre a short trip away for anyone wanting a day of shops rather than sightseeing. Sydenham station is close by too, making it straightforward to head into town or explore further afield without needing a car, though free on-site parking is available for those who'd rather drive. The surrounding area also offers golf and fishing nearby, along with a choice of pubs, restaurants and other eateries within easy distance.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks in the room, and family rooms for those travelling with children. Breakfast is included, and guests can make use of the garden, picnic area and outdoor seating when the weather allows. Free WiFi, luggage storage and 24 hour reception cover the practical side of a stay.

The rooms themselves are kept clean and comfortable, and the staff have a reputation for being friendly and helpful, which counts for a lot in a B&B this size. A small number of guests have noted occasional odours, worth bearing in mind, though the location near transport links and local amenities remains a strong point for anyone wanting an easy base in Belfast.

Everything about this checked all of our boxes, staff very friendly. Breakfast was simple and good to get you started for the day. Rooms were clean and very nice. Train station is only a 5 minute walk. And plenty of food and grocery stores near by. For the price you won't do better.

A really nice little family run B&B in a decent location, a short walk away from the train station and bus stops so it's very easy to navigate around the city from. The staff were all friendly and professional and the rooms were clean and tidy. Absolutely no complaints. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

When you walk in you pay before you can change your mind. The place smelled so bad of curry. Our room smelled horrible of the curry and also smelt like pee from a bathroom . We felt so disgusting and I didn't even open my suitcase for fear of my clothing to pick up the stench. Not one of the 5 members of our family were able to sleep. We only saw the person who took our payment 1 time to pay. Any take out food he had to order from was all Indian food . So if you are Indian and love the Indian culture of smells this place is probably for you . If you are not Indian and do not love the culture smells , find another.

The front main door doesn’t lock so that was a bit concerning to us but the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast spread was small but manageable. The walls were pretty thin and we could hear everything in the hall n other rooms and the bnb was a bit far from ferry and downtown but we enjoyed our stay there and there was a lovely cat who came to say hello
