About Amica Guesthouse
A kettle and drinks in the room are standard at Amica Guesthouse, and one of the suites goes further with its own kitchenette, useful for anyone wanting to put together a simple meal rather than eat out every night. There's no restaurant on site, but pubs, bars and eateries nearby mean options are close at hand whenever you fancy a change of scene.
The guesthouse itself is a cosy brick building in Belfast's City of Belfast area, with three casual rooms alongside the suite. Each room comes with an en-suite bathroom, and free WiFi runs throughout. Reception operates around the clock, luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures, and pets are welcome, which makes it a practical stop for guests travelling with animals.
Free on-site parking takes the hassle out of arriving by car, and the location puts Castle Court Shopping Centre and Central Station within easy reach, alongside a nearby golf course and other entertainment options. It's a straightforward, unfussy base for exploring Belfast.

What guests say
The rooms are quite spacious. Lost my earing and had to look under the bed which was very dirty. Some of the pots and pans were dirty had burnt on food. The suite upstairs with kitchen was very noisy my sister didn't sleep a wink she said because it was very warm and had to have window open. If you are from a Nationalist community you might find it very intimidating. We were walking to Belsonic park and some of the roads were blocked off. We had to take a different route. There was UVF flags flying and some men were behaving n an intimidating way. My sister and I were frightened The fridge in the rooms is great as is the kitchenet. It is a good budget place but the area is rough in a lot of places. The flats are good but I wouldn't stay n the area again,

I stayed here in a top floor, front double room. It was airy, bright & clean. Small fridge in room plus tea/coffee facilities. Good size bathroom. I perhaps woukd have liked a couple of bowls & more cutlery maybe, to buy stuff for breakfast. Access & communication was easy. The host contacted us after we'd arrived to check all was OK. We spent most of our time in the city centre, which is a good 20/25 min walk, hence the location is 4 stars. But for the price, I couldn't fault it. Oh, and they supply ear plugs due to main road noise, but I live on a main road so it didn't bother me.

I was very happy to find such a good value place to stay with my dogs! The check-in instructions are very clear and the communication is very good via email and text despite the lack of reception. The rooms on the main road side can be loud with traffic but they kindly provide earplugs. The bed was very comfy. Shower warm and strong flow. Lots of dog friendly cafes around and parks.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. Before our arrival, we received clear instructions on how to access the house and our room, as well as information about parking. Both before and after our stay, we received WhatsApp messages to ensure we had received all the necessary information and to check if our stay was pleasant. The bed was perfect. Our room faced a busy road, but we didn't experience any noise disturbances. Earplugs were provided, but we didn't need them. One small point for improvement: the shower drain was a bit slow, so it might be worth looking into. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this place.
