About ibis Belfast Queens Quarter

University Street sits at the heart of Belfast's Queens Quarter, an area lined with academic buildings, green space at Botanic Gardens, and the Ulster Museum within easy reach, and it's here that ibis Belfast Queens Quarter makes its home. The setting suits anyone wanting to explore the city on foot, with entertainment, pubs and restaurants all nearby.

The hotel has 56 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, along with accessible rooms for those who need them. A lift serves all floors, and practical extras include laundry service and luggage storage. Some guests have noted the air conditioning can be noisy, but rooms are otherwise kept clean and comfortable, with reliably good showers.

Breakfast is a highlight, with a spread that includes vegetarian sausages and fresh coffee, and there's a restaurant and bar on site for other meals, plus a snack bar and outdoor seating. Kids' meals are available too. Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There's no parking at the property, so those arriving by car should plan accordingly, but the central location means most things are within walking distance.

It was our first visit to Belfast, and we stayed at the ibis Belfast Queens Quarter for 14 nights. What impressed us most was the genuine hospitality shown by the staff. They patiently answered all our questions, shared valuable local knowledge, and provided guidance that helped us settle into Belfast quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thank you to Adrian, Badrul, Josh, Sinead, Erika, and Chef Anil Sebastian for their outstanding hospitality and support. The breakfast was excellent, the room was spotless, and the service was consistently impressive.😊 Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel.

Warm welcome on reception from Adrian. Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. We didn’t use bar/restaurant so can’t comment. Location great, around 15 mins walk to City Hall. Always found parking in the evenings. Daytime more busy. The only reason for 9/10 instead of 10/10 was because the room door needed a good slam to make it secure. Sadly one day the person that cleaned the room did not slam it sufficiently and the room was left insecure all day. Thankfully nothing was taken. The room was kept clean and tidy though so we were grateful for that. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Lots of restaurants/cafes nearby and Tesco express a few minutes walk away.

Great experience from the minute we arrived. We were greeted by Adrian from Spain who was lovely, very professional and helpful. Josh from Canada/ UK also very professional and approachable. We gathered a lot of information on the area, the university and the local customs and places to visit and eat. It was very useful speaking to them both. We were definitely visit again, especially if our daughter comes to Queen's university. Thank you both for your wonderful service. Grace & Elena

Staying at the Ibis Queens Quarter Belfast in May truly felt like staying with family. Josh and Erika made sure our room was absolutely perfect, and Rebecca and Adrian had loads of great suggestions for what to see and do during our stay. Ciaren and Badrul kept us fed with yummy pizza and drinks late into the evening, and Sebastian made every breakfast feel like a treat. Every single person went above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back!
