Pizza Express Tower Bridge

Randomly came across this place and glad I did. From the drinks, to the menu, to the atmosphere, to the staff, to the price. I have zero negative comments. My waiter Rez was top notch. His recommendations were perfect. He was also great at being attentive without hovering. I suggest the set menu to try a bit of each course. The chili chicken wings and the honeycomb cheesecake will definitely bring me back. As a tourist this will now be my staple go to when I come back. I’m full and I already want more!

I came today with my best friend after a long and cold day of tourism by mistake! However, it was THE best experience of all times! Alina served us and she did nothing else but taking care of us and making us feel at home! We highly recommend this place and that you ask to be served by Alina!

I’ve been coming to this PizzaExpress for years and have visited more than 20 times. It never disappoints. The location is fantastic, tucked away in beautiful Shad Thames, just a short walk from Tower Bridge. Despite being in such a popular area, it never feels overly busy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed date or dinner with friends. The setting is so charming that it feels more like a cosy local trattoria than a UK high street chain. What really makes this place stand out is the staff. Every visit, they’ve been genuinely warm, welcoming and attentive—far better than many restaurants that automatically add a service charge. As for the food, PizzaExpress is a chain, so don’t expect gourmet Italian cuisine. But within its category, it’s one of the best. The pizzas are consistently good, the menu offers plenty of choice, and the prices are very reasonable, especially if you take advantage of the loyalty programme and regular offers. A great local restaurant that I keep coming back to, and one I’d happily recommend.
