What diners say
Lovely decor, friendly staff, and quick service.! The chef even came to our table at the end of the meal to chat about his culinary journey and passion for Thai food. Every dish was packed with impressive, delicious flavours, the Massaman curry, in particular, was outstanding. Highly recommended

Right in the heart of bustling Shoreditch, Bangkok Bites was still only a month into serving diners in-house when we visited, having existed very successfully before then as a take-away only operation. Delivery riders queue up outside consistently, confirming it's place as a local takeaway favourite. Inside the dining area is small but comfortable and the pan-Asian menu ranges from Thai to Japanese. This is not a high-end dining experience but… the food is tasty and plentiful served by friendly staff. We had starters and mains and were so full when we left we couldn't have eaten another thing. If you’re hungry and want Asian food to sate your appetite at very reasonable prices, Bangkok Bites is recommended.

Dinner at Bangkok Bites Shoreditch 🍣✨ If you’re going, here’s what I’d 100% recommend: ⭐ Pad Thai with Beef – proper wok flavour, savoury, slightly sweet, super comforting. ⭐ Green Curry Seafood – rich, creamy, and fragrant with just the right level of spice. ⭐ Tom Kha Soup – light coconut broth with a fresh tangy kick… so soothing. Also tried: rainbow roll + chicken katsu curry (both solid choices 👌) Such a good spot for a casual Shoreditch dinner with friends 🤍

Ordered from Uber eats and spent £33 on two curries and a vegan platter. When the food arrived the driver handed it to me with a big hole in the paper bag where one of the curries had leaked out. As he was holding it, the curry was leaking out of the bag. One of the curries was a massaman curry which contained nuts, half of that curry leaked out into the cardboard box that contained the Vegan platter so I could not eat it. I was told the person who packed it did infact wrap it in cling film but they did not, they packed both curries on top of the Vegan platter which squashed it. Uber eats were useless said the items are not eligible for a refund or price adjustment despite explaining my allergy and the fact that half of one of the curries has spilled inside the bag. Store offered to send another curry and platter if I ordered something small which I guess I didn't mind but then I saw that it would need to be within a minimum spend so I would then have to spend a further £10 just to have the order sent again when I had already spent £33. Extremely frustrating because I only have one curry that thankfully wasn't damaged but I can't even eat the platter and the other curry was for somebody else. Most of the sauce spilled inside the bag. Issue hasn't been resolved at all.
