What visitors say
Love Lettershaws. Great quiet site. Facilities include 2 toilets, washing up, shower, water, waste and chemical toilet disposal. No phone or internet which is part of the charm, but signals when out and about. Rena the owner is lovely. Toilet block is basic but what more do you need. Dog walk from site brilliant. Lots of birds. Been twice in 10 days and planning next trip already.

Quiet little campsite, lovely location and good facilities - two toilets, a shower, kitchen and charging points. The owner was amazing, she let us pitch up despite not pre-booking and turning up well after hours (our bike ride took longer than expected). The price (£10) was also great, much cheaper than most campsites I've stayed at. The shower does take 20p coins, however 2 or 3 coins is enough for a shower. There's also no phone service at all, but being surrounded by hills, a stream and an abundance of rabbits on the site more than makes up for it.

Lovely place for a break. Good dog walk for winter. Must have dogs on lead when birds nesting. Didn't use toilet block or shower. Rena said shes looking to replace portocabin toilet block as its past its best.

Stayed 1 night 22/4/26 as a stopover heading home after NC500, had site to ourselves, lovely peaceful site, flat pitch with great views, basic facilities but fine, easy dog walks from site, deserved more than one night. Campervan 2 adults 2 dogs £10
