Elm Cottage

Elm Cottage is a ground-floor property on the 33,000-acre Douglas Estate, surrounded by woodland and countryside. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms—one with a zip-and-link super king bed and one double—plus two bathrooms with shower and bath respectively. Everything needed for a self-catering stay is provided: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, so you arrive to a ready home.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. The living and dining room has a woodburner and Freeview television. Both bedrooms have their own TV. Parking for two cars is on site. The cottage sits within a shared courtyard garden with landscaped grounds, and walking routes leave directly from the door; the Southern Upland Way runs nearby for longer excursions. Biggar is around two miles away for shops and restaurants, while Edinburgh and Glasgow are within easy reach for days out.
