What visitors say
Good size pitches with plenty of surrounding space on the open fields, enclosed enough to ensure the kids can roam safely on their bikes. Plenty of clean shower and toilet facilities which have been upgraded since our last visit. More rubbish drop off areas added this year which is a great idea! Friendly staff especially Lyn who is always helpful and polite on the phone. Overall a great stay with my family and we will be returning again in a few weeks!

Myself and my Husband stayed over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Our pitch was clean and spacious. The toilets and showers nearest to us were the wooden block ones. I personally found the ladies to be clean but my husband said the men's toilet seats weren't in the greatest condition and really could do with replacing. He said they weren't clean and were also scratched as if someone had cut them .However he did find the other shower and toilet block on the site much newer and modern and used those. We had a lovely and peaceful stay and with an equestrian site on the farm it was lovely to see all the horses in the fields around us . We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here recently for one night. It’s dog friendly and offers electric hook-ups, along with basic facilities including toilets, showers, and a washing-up area. The site itself was okay, but the toilets and showers were not clean. We prepared both breakfast and dinner during our stay, but were surprised to find there were no visible bins on site, which was quite inconvenient given we had food waste to dispose of. In the end, we had to take our rubbish back into our campervans overnight to prevent animals from getting into it, and ultimately take our rubbish home with us, which wasn’t ideal, especially with leftover food waste. Overall, the campsite was okay, but the toilets and showers are in need of some updating.

I have booked and stayed there in my camper a couple of times. It is great when you can book in. The website booking system is a hit and miss. Date selection slot is not responsive and the page just stalls without any prompt. The last time I booked, I had to drop it and waited for half an hour and tried again. Then it suddenly worked. Calling the office is also a hit and miss, be prepared to get an automated "No agent is available at this time." And an abrupt hangup. Other than that, great location, decent facilities. PS. It will be helpful if they can leave a squidgy mop in the showers so we can help with drying the area after use. Most site provide such facilities.

Some reviews mention the rubbish disposal can be inconvenient.
