The location is great, it’s in good proximity to bus stops and major shops. The rooms are decent. Cosy enough, basic facilities, I like that there was a sink in mine. The staff members are polite enough, but often too friendly, especially after hours. My only real complaint is that upon returning from a small outing, I noticed £10 cash missing from my drawer. The cleaner had clearly been in despite me not having asked. I was told that they only enter if a guest is out, which can be easily indicated, as guests are asked to leave their keys at reception instead of taking keys out. After some back & forth, I was told to check out and that the cost of my room would be refunded. The owner then went back on this. Overall a convenient stay, just disappointed about the £10 I haven’t had back.

Friendly staff with nice large bar area. room nice and large with proper wardrobe. Nice and big shower. Could do with blackout curtains and phone to contact reception if needed and anything. Could improve how to lock room could replace with keycard instead of keys . Could improve on doing your own breakfast all ready have large room to do it in

Actually value for what you pay for, which is a clean room. The room was a bit dated, could do with putting new sideboard draws in the room as been bashed about a bit, tea coffee, plenty, I paid for a double bed but should have asked for a single £24 cheaper, my fault, has a bar, pool table, big TVs controlled entrance.

Gave us a last minute cancellation but charged the full amount despite website showing different . The bedroom is outdated, no shower gel, shampoo or hand wash provided. The carpet was stained and marked, the bedroom actually smelt very odd and like damp. No head board on any of the beds, the mattress extremely hard and springy! Definitely needs modernising & updating!! However, the staff were friendly & welcoming. The parking is also a nightmare, no parking on site, we had to wait around till 3am until someone had left and we were able to park. The place is a shambles!! Rather pay a little extra and have a decent night sleep and some comfort.
