About Premier Inn Birmingham South Rubery
For anyone breaking a motorway journey, visiting Cadbury World or exploring the Lickey Hills, Premier Inn Birmingham South Rubery makes a practical, no-fuss base. It suits families on days out as much as drivers passing through on the M5, with free on-site parking front and side of the building removing one of the usual hassles of a stopover.
The hotel has 64 rooms across three floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, and a lift for easier access; accessible rooms are also available. Staff are on hand around the clock at the 24 hour reception, and the on-site restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, with the buffet breakfast a particular highlight and evening meals generally seen as good value. Some guests have found the rooms run a little warm, worth bearing in mind if you prefer a cooler night's sleep.
Beyond the hotel, there's a golf course, entertainment and a pub or bar nearby, along with the wider draws of Cadbury World and the Lickey Hills for walking. With prices from £39 to £150 depending on dates, it's a straightforward, well-run option for a short stay in this part of Birmingham.
What guests say
Good Premier inn. Handy location for us. A little bit shabby but clean. As usual not enough plugs and USB ports by bed not plugs which is annoying when you have a USC phone! Not air conditioned but nice powerful fan provided. No towels in room when we arrived but reception provided them.

Good hotel, I have used it before to attend a Rover MG show in April. Rooms big and clean, hotel is always quiet at night. Breakfast fantastic, it's back to the buffet style and food well presented and cooked. Evening meals I didn't think were as good, still enjoyed it, but the menu not as good as before. Check in staff all helpful and a good big carpark with plenty space.

It's a Premier Inn, you know what to expect, but this is one of the nicer sites. The standard of cleaning is high, and while there is no ac, the hotel provided high quality fans. And best, about 5 minutes from the M5, making it a good base when traveling.
