Absolutely wonderful day today at Ugly Duckling, the staff couldn't be more helpful, we did some baby prints and they helped with anything and everything, such an enjoyable experience and nothing was too much of an ask! Delicious coffee and the waffles they do are delicious! Certainly recommend and can't wait to come back. P.s. it doesn't even matter if you can't draw, have nice handwriting, they help with it all! Came here for my birthday and then later for my mums birthday as loved it so much. Really lovely and accommodating employees, super helpful and there is so much choice. Lovely space and great atmosphere - will be back soon!

I only moved in to the area 2 months ago and have already been here 3 times! Staff are lovely and accommodating. Lots of choice of pottery to paint at reasonable prices. When I needed my item to be fired for 2 days time the staff were amazing and made it happen which I was very grateful for :)

I have been to the Ugly Duckling since just after it opened nearly 8 years ago. In the last year or so I have enjoyed doing many of the Sarah Clay Club workshops, and painting pottery with friends and family. I highly recommend the place and the workshops they run, its a lovely and welcoming space to all. That includes SEND sessions that provides a quieter and more calming environment. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Their café is nice and I especially enjoy their smoothies. With the workshops Sarah runs, her enthusiasm and excitement helps makes them so enjoyable. When I and others found things tricky in the workshops she was supportive and extremely helpful. I recently did a mindfulness workshop which was fun and relaxing. I'm definitely going to continue to visit and I already have booked onto another Clay workshop.
