Avoid this hotel!!! Dont stay at the Alumhurst Hotel Blackpool. Its damp ridden, absolutely filthy and a health and safety hazard! They like to rip you off and then they won't issue a refund! This hotel shouldn't be operational and needs to close down. I spoke to a group of locals, who were sadly homeless and they explained to me about the bad reputation that the Alumhurst Hotel has and that they have seen the horrific conditions of the hotel and would rather be on the streets than sleeping in there. Say no more!!!

Cheap it has friendly staff yes, but omg it's rough and dirty. Did not dare check the mattress but the bedding was clean and white. Blood or something else on the curtains, partner rubbed his head against the wall paper during the night and ended up with a mucky scuff on his head

Parking was full when we arrived but we didn't arrive until 9.30pm After the bad reviews online was expecting the worst but was good value for money. Room was clean and tidy and had towels and Toiletries. Room was cold on arrival but when we was showed our room they put the heater straight on and as we went out was hot when we arrived back. Fire alarm went off early hours in the morning Toilet didn't flush but we wasn't really in room so only noticed before check out when we used it.
