About Jesmond International Hotel
Rooms at Jesmond International Hotel are basic but come with the essentials covered, including free WiFi and, by several accounts, decent pillows. It's worth knowing that upkeep can be inconsistent, with some rooms in sharper shape than others, so this is a place for guests who want a straightforward base rather than polish.
Downstairs there's a bar for an evening drink, and reception is staffed around the clock, useful for late arrivals after a day out. The hotel sits on Charnley Road in Blackpool, Lancashire, with parking available on-site, a genuine plus in a town where that's not always easy to come by.
The location is a strong point, close to Blackpool Tower and the town's main attractions, with restaurants, pubs and entertainment all within easy reach nearby. Golf, fishing and watersports are also on offer in the surrounding area for those wanting to get out and about. It suits travellers after value and convenience over comfort at any cost.
What guests say
Where to begin? Let’s start with the exceptional value for money. It has everything you could want plus more. The most comfortable bed Ive stayed in at any hotel. Run out of class A drugs there is 4 lovely people who patrol the whole street til 5am every morning. The noise they create during the early hours is something quite special. My favourite thing from the room has to be the old school carpet that gets hoovered with an iron. The location is perfect, couple mins from the Eiffel Tower and the golden beaches. 5 mins from nightlife and town centre. This is our 2nd stay at the nashy and i can not wait to complete the hatrick next year!

Oh jesus where do I begin. Loud music blarring at night, the strong smell of cannabis was unreal. Service - got told to go down stairs to see manager, the manager was under the influence of either alcohol or drugs. We got given 2 keys, apparently 1 for the front door and 1 for the room door, well one of the keys opened both doors. We slept with furniture up at the door for safety. Room - never been so disgusted in my life. The bedding was filthy with stains even had paw prints on it. It had crumbs in the bed. The carpet had cigarette holes in it and was rock solid with dirt, dont think its ever seen a hoover. The walls were dirty with holes. The ceiling was falling down. There was a table with a cloth on it that was all stained. Shared toilet and shower - dont think its ever been cleaned, urine and faeces on walls. Shower had mould over it and blood on shower curtain. 2:34am a guy banging on a door screaming for his girlfriend Amy. He went outside shouting etc next thing I know he is climbing through our window half his body in shouting at us to open the front door. I told him to stop and get out to his reply they have my girlfriend locked in the basement. I told him to call the police, I had kids in the room that was petrified he said well you should close your window then. We was a party of 9 and I can assure you not one of us got to sleep after that as we was all scared. We messaged the hotel for them to sort this guy out and we never got a reply back. I am utter shocked, disgusted and outraged. I strongly suggest you Do Not go here if you are female or have kids. For your own safety. This place should be shut down its a health hazard and a very much safety concern. I couldnt rate this unless I put 1 star. As you can see with my photos its shocking.

Room needs updating. Holes in the wall. Needs new mattress very uncomfortable. No chairs or small bedside table to put drinks on. Holes in door of shared toilet!!! Shower room wasn’t big enough to get dry or change clothes properly. No towel mat for the floor when getting out of the shower so bit of a slipping hazard. Also walls for the toilet room were grubby all needs a good clean and a lick of paint TV signal rubbish kept breaking up

Not Safe!! Lastnight I heard alot of commotion and shouting, opened my room door to see the manager screaming at a guest. 10mins later I heard her door go so I popped out to check on her and she was terrified and leaving with her little daughter. Seen the manager and staff drinking heavy at the bar tonight so I didn't want to chance being the next victim. Upon leaving non off the staff even asked why, just shook his head and took back the key. Seen the women with her daughter stood outside Coral Island with security and she asked me to provide a witness statement for a police report which I'm 100% doing.
