About Barrons Hotel
Blackpool's Hornby Road puts holidaymakers within easy reach of the Tower and the town's seafront attractions, and Barrons Hotel occupies a spot on this street with Blackpool North station less than a mile away. It's a straightforward base for a seaside break rather than a luxury stay, with 20 rooms and free on-site parking for those driving up.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and the option of family accommodation, plus drinks available in-room. That said, upkeep is not always consistent, and some rooms have been found lacking in basic extras, so it's worth setting expectations accordingly. Breakfast is served on-site, and there's a bar and snack bar for drinks and lighter bites, along with outdoor seating and 24 hour reception for late arrivals.
The hotel's food and service are often the highlight, and staff are generally described as helpful. Beyond the doors, guests can find golf, fishing and watersports nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy walking distance, making it a workable base for exploring what Blackpool has to offer.

What guests say
It was worse experience i have ever had in a hotel. First of all there was no safety for car parking. Secondly there was no body at reception to receive guests. After that terrible experience once we got our rooms, it got even more worse. The rooms smell bad , no fans at all with cracked floor , the shower was horrendous with moldy surfaces and bed bugs on the bed. The TV wasn't working. And they provide no complementary water. The mini fridge in room was smelling bad with dirty glasses inside it. Overall , this was a horrible experience with my family. I wouldn't advise anyone to go there and ruin their trip.

Room 2. No kettle, tv, toiletries or even clean bedding. I wasn't expecting the ritz but cleanliness is non negotiable unfortunately! The drawers were stained, bathroom floor tiles cracked and sharp, Dirty bedding with hairs in the bed was just gross! The wifi was great and no one inside asked us for money like the reviews suggest which was a relief. The door lock was hanging off so we barricaded ourselves in each night. Shower hot, but when the fan was on all the smoke came in from the wardens room adjacent unfortunately. Hoovering and movement above us started about 11pm until the early hours. Overall this was quite an experience and I wouldn't recommend it! The only good thing was the price, it was cheap!

Nice hotel, great location. Was impressed for the price. Friendly staff, clean. I expected a lot less for the price. Bit lively outside but it is in the heart of blackpool. Would definitely consider returning
