About Bradburys of Blackpool

Bradburys of Blackpool occupies a converted townhouse on Havelock Street, the kind of terraced building typical of the town's guesthouse streets, now run as a bed and breakfast with a more rounded set of facilities than most. Rooms are en-suite and include family options, kept clean and comfortable, with drinks available in room and room service on offer for those who'd rather not go out.

Breakfast is a genuine highlight, with cooked options that guests consistently single out, and there's also a restaurant, bar and snack bar on site, plus packed lunches and kids' meals for families. Extras stretch further than expected for a B&B of this size, with a games room, meeting rooms, VIP facilities and even a bridal suite for those using it as a wedding venue. Pets are welcome, and there's 24-hour reception, luggage storage and laundry service for practical needs.

The location puts Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach within easy reach, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby for evenings out, and parking available on site for those driving up. Staff are consistently described as helpful and welcoming, which goes some way to explaining the loyal following this small hotel has built.

Had such a lovely stay here this weekend. The room was clean and very comfortable bed. Absolutely loved our host, she was so accommodating and funny. Definitely will be back in the near future. It’s right on the doorstep of everything and very easy to find.

Avoid at all costs – nothing like Four in a Bed Booked this for my daughter and granddaughter as a birthday treat after seeing this hotel on Four in a Bed, but there experience was completely different. The room was in very poor condition with visible damp, cracks and general disrepair. The bedding did not appear clean. The bed itself was not fit for use – it collapsed during our stay and my friend fell through it, which is a serious safety concern. The view overlooked a yard covered in dog faeces and waste, which was both unpleasant and unhygienic. She was travelling with my 9 year-old granddaughter who became very distressed and refused to stay, so they had to leave immediately. As a result, they have had to move to another hotel at additional cost. When my daughter raised these issues, the manager, Kelly, was dismissive and focused only on quoting the refund policy rather than taking any responsibility for the condition of the room or the safety concerns raised. Despite everything, the hotel has refused to refund the £80. If this is the standard they are willing to charge for and defend, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
