About Cheers Hotel

Blackpool Tower and the seafront promenade are both within easy reach of Cheers Hotel, making it a handy base for anyone planning to spend their days on the front or in the town's entertainment venues. Golf, fishing and watersports can all be arranged nearby, while the surrounding streets offer plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants for evenings out, and walking and cycling routes for those who prefer to explore on foot or by bike.

Cheers Hotel itself is a straightforward bed and breakfast on Coronation Street, offering en-suite rooms including family options, with drinks available in room and breakfast served each morning. There's a bar on site along with free WiFi, laundry service and 24 hour reception, so guests arriving at odd hours are still looked after.

Parking isn't available on site but chargeable parking can be found nearby, worth factoring in if arriving by car. It's a functional, well-placed option for visitors focused on getting out and seeing Blackpool rather than spending time at the property itself.

'Hotel' is awful. Apparently it has been modernised, but from the look of things I would say not. The room we stayed in was small. The bathroom was tiny and is poor condition. The shower hasn't been cleaned for ages to the point we wouldn't have a shower in it. Wall paper was falling off. The carpet has bits missing. The bathroom door handle was broken. The main room door was literally just holding on and placed a suitcase behind the door incase someone came in. A notice in the room says, the room gets replenished every 4 days!! There were empty alcohol cans and cigarettes all outside the premises. Parking was that bad, we had to walk 15mins to get to the place. Overall we wouldn't not recommend and definitely wouldn't be staying again.

Certainly gone downhill since my last stay. Place could do with a thorough clean now. Beds were uncomfortable. The hosts were as pleasant as last time. The breakfast was cooked well but poor quality ingredients. Can not see myself staying here again. Bit of a shame because the location is great.

Best food in Blackpool! (That I have tried) Lovely little café, hidden gem. Fair prices. Quick service. Friendly Staff. Serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Card and cash accepted. Dog friendly. No on-site parking.
