Really lovely hotel with nice sized clean rooms, very comfortable beds, the hotel room has everything you'd need including a mini fridge, hair dryer, safe lock box, ironing table etc... If you're a guest at this hotel then you'd get a percentage off at the Namastey restaurant which is in the same building as the calypso hotel where a few smaller hotels around that area are associated with the restaurant, truly recommend trying this restaurant out even if you've booked a hotel elsewhere 10/10 for the food and service

Exactly as described. Rooms clean and comfortable and a FANTASTIC location! Shrikant the owner was very helpful and always available. Travelled with family and we had three rooms between us. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you 😊

The room was very very hot. The fans provided in the closet was, 1 was covered completely in dirt and the other fan was missing a button which was a tower fan. The shower could do with a more detailed clean around the drainer where the excess water escapes. The sides of the bathroom had dirt debris along the the skirting. The cup and somewhat of a green substance which looked very unpleasant with water still in it from maybe previous use and cup was not cleaned / replaced. The toilet brush still had debris from soiled use with cleaning which raised hygiene concern. The showers was hot and very easy to use. The tv was noticeable to be a lot higher for some to view if they was of shorter height. Toilet paper on the 2nd day had to be asked for as this was not replenished by the housekeeping teams. The bathroom towels was also not collected as again I had to request these. On my 1st night I could hear kids in the basement floor making alot of noise in the garden which was not great if I had been travelling 5 hours.

Great location, stones throw from the tower and most of the attractions, train station not far either. Some really good restaurants nearby (we found Polish, Caribbean and India very close). Staff were very helpful and went our of their way to help with our bags and getting a cot etc. The room was clean and tidy, beds were comfy and showers were good. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it.
